Five new titles are now available on Hong Kong Scholarship Online (HKSO), adding to the Economics and Finance, History, Linguistics, and Music modules.
These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from an exploration of ways to fix education and immigration in Hong Kong to the formation of varied types of knowledge, perceptions, and representations exchanged between China and the West from 1600 to 1900, and from the prosecution of almost a thousand alleged Japanese war criminals by the Australian military after the Second World War to queer elements of mainland Chinese fandoms that have been less often written about than more visible cultural elements in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
