This chapter discusses the Church of St Dominic, which is a different example of the baroque. It looks at the church starting from the Senado Square, to see how the church has related to the city space and how it has created space around it. It then looks at the interior of the church, which features affecting images of Christ and fragments from the body of Christ. Relics are parts of baroque's culture of display. The chapter ends by differentiating baroque in Europe and baroque in Macao.
