This chapter discusses the conversations between Fou Lei and Huang Binhong about the latter's paintings. After Binhong's solo exhibition ended, most of the paintings were kept by Lei for safekeeping. During that time Lei received many requests for paintings, to which Binhong readily agreed. The rest of the chapter looks at the international contacts Lei had, which helped Binhong's popularity. The author also included some of Binhong's paintings, which showed his artistic style in creating landscapes.
