Chapter 3 focuses on the case of the liberal-oriented Open Line Open View (OLOV). This chapter discusses the basic set-up of the program, and through a conversation analysis of a sample of program episodes, illustrates how the liberal and critical character of the program was produced through the conversational dynamics of the show.
